The Chicago White Sox are back at Rate Field tonight to start a 9 game homestand vs the Seattle Mariners.

I bring this up because just like last season, U will have a choice on how to watch a few Sox games again this MLB season. See what I did there?

WCIU 26, the Weigel-owned Independent that's now branded as "The U" has signed a new deal with CHSN to simulcast as many as 10 Sox games again this season.

Pregame coverage on BOTH WCIU & Chicago Sports Network starting at 6P with "White Sox Countdown Live" hosted by Chuck Garfien & former World Series winning manager Ozzie Guillen.
John Schriffen, Steve Stone, Brooke Fletcher & Connor McKnight will then work the game starting at 6:40P (CT). It will be a "Friday Night All Access" presentation, complete with mic'd up players as well as in game conversations with players & coaches.

The 2 channels will then team up next weekend to present all 3 games of the Interleague series vs the Cubs next Friday-Sunday at Rate Field. Cubs' fans can watch these same games vs the Sox, of course, via Marquee Sports Network.
