Another member of the FOX 32 family is switching channels.

Paris Schutz, whose contract at FOX 32 was to expire this week, has left the FOX-owned station and has signed on with NBC 5. That's the word from Sally Ramirez, Senior V.P. of News at NBC 5 & Telemundo 44.

Schutz joined FOX 32 2 years ago as the successor to Political Editor Mike Flannery. Schutz spent 15 years at WTTW 11 as host of "Chicago Tonight", the PBS station's nightly news & talk show where he started as an intern and made his way up to host in 2019.

At FOX 32, Schutz was not only Political Editor, but also served as host of the station's nightly political talk show "The Chicago Report", which airs at 10P (CT) weeknights.

Schutz joins NBC 5 Monday, where he will serve as a general assignment reporter focused on investigative stories & politics.
