They need to get JAMS out of the way, as that is there reasonable shift, but ready is not that reasonable these days. LOL. It is an industry wide discussion not if, but when Audacy will bring Chicago "Score-FM". This has happened many times before when 2 related stations are sharing too much audience. IN this case, Audacy has 0 stomach to launch a new format, costs way too much money. The savings to do "Score FM" is another good reason to do it. WNUA and WVAZ were sharing too many numbers (mainly Black listeners). WEJM-FM and WGCI were in the same demo, when WGCI's parent company bought WEJM-FM, they were gone. WYSY when 70s, ended up being sister station to WCKG and sharing an audience, was swiftly sold to SBS making sure they would not be competition to WCKG.
