You may have noticed "Chicago's Very Own" WGN 9 has become very news heavy over the last several years, even with the Nexstar Media-owned outlet becoming Chicago's CW station once again in September 2024.

"The Point" I'm trying to make (See what I did there?) is that WGN is about to add another news show to its daily lineup...But there's a twist. It's only airing for 15 minutes.

WGN announced the launch of "The Point", described as a nightly political show with host Tahman Bradley, the station's Political Editor, informing viewers about politics and how it affects daily lives. The show will also feature original reporting & in-depth interviews, based on the press release.

"The Point" will only air at 6:45P (CT) weeknights starting Monday, January 26th on WGN as well as the station's Website & WGN+ app.
