Sadly, this happens when you run an operation on a shoestring budget and you pay a kings ransom to "lease" a signal that is still not even a real FM signal. No matter what they are billing there, is not enough. You can easily get their programming & no customer service via an online stream minus the commercials. YouTube anyone? I digress.
To ChiTownGal's post, I agree, the Wink program was a welcomed offering on Christmas. The show can go on, reusing old segments and shows. It can easily be run for some years, but let's be honest. At what age do listeners (that even listen to radio anymore) know who Wink is? 45? 50? Are actually interested in Xmas tunes from 8 decades ago? The shelf life is limited for consumption.
Don't agree w/ me and need proof on my statements above? Speaking to a 28 year old, he had NO clue, ZERO, who Rob Reiner was. 🤷🏻♂️ Time moves on.
