While Adam Amin, Jim Miller & sideline reporter Lou Canellis return for the Chicago Bears TV Network presentation as well as Jeff Joniak, Tom Thayer & Jason McKie on ESPN 1000/Chicago Bears Radio Network, there will be 2 newcomers joining the broadcast this month.
One of them is Jasmine Baker, who provides content for the Bears' social media platforms. The other is veteran NFL Network reporter Stacey Dales.
For Dales, this season marks her 17th season as an NFLN correspondent. Sunday's Dolphins/Bears' preseason game will mark her debut as an analyst. Needless to say, Dales has come a long way.
Dales was actually a basketball star at the University of Oklahoma, helping the Lady Sooners make it to the NCAA Women's Championship Game only to lose to the University of Connecticut Huskies in 2002. She also played WNBA basketball for the Washington Mystics & was an original member of the Chicago Sky for 2 seasons before retiring.
Dales moved to California and made the transition from basketball to football with NFL Network in 2009. Dales has been with NFLN ever since.
Dales says that the Bears called her regarding interest in working with the team, specifically a three person booth. Dales immediately jumped at the chance.
Dales, Amin, Miller, Canellis & Baker will also work the 3rd & final Bears' preseason broadcast together Friday, August 22 vs the Kansas City Chiefs.
