The industry sucks. Be assured he was more fulfilled working @ Ace hardware compared to the shit state the industry has ended up at.

The news department was top notch @ WLS even after WCFL was long gone. The interaction with the jocks was priceless. They also did news on the FM side (WLS/WYTZ) but it dwindled to AM drive only and in a flash, was literally gone. Leading to the stupidity of society, as time goes on.
