An employee of the WTTW television station, 5400 N. Saint Louis Ave., reported that a worker allegedly stole several items at about 5 p.m. Thursday, April 24, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.

The employee reported that a worker asked several managers if he could donate two ovens valued at $8,000 and studio lighting equipment valued at $4,000 to a charity group but all the managers allegedly denied his request, according to police.

The employee reported that the items were reported missing on Friday, April 25, and an investigation was conducted, police said.
