I grew up in a time when a lot of cars Only had AM radio. By the mid 1970s more cars included FM radio. It's crazy to imagine cars with NO AM RADIO. But the truth is that the younger generation doesn't even listen to FM radio. It's all streaming, iPad, appl music, etc. Even us older people like myself have YouTube Playlist. My Playlist includes music that there's no radio format for. Like the old song used to say, the Revolution Won't be Televised.
