For listeners of 101.9 FM The Mix expecting to hear Lisa Allen spinning the tunes middays, there's a good reason. It appears as if the dreaded budget ax has claimed the Hubbard-owned adult contemporary station's midday host.

Allen first joined WTMX in 2020 after she previously hosted evenings at Hubbard's sister station WILV-FM, now branded as Throwbacks 100.3, in 2012. It's believed three others at 101.9 FM were also sent packing as a result of budget cuts.
