Next weekend at this time, the Cubs will be taking the field in Tokyo vs the Hanshin Tigers one week from today and vs the Yomiuri Giants in preparation for their 2 game regular season series vs the World Champion Los Angeles Dodgers at the Tokyo Dome March 18 & 19.

While FOX will air the Tuesday, March 18 game and FS1 the Wednesday, March 19 matchup nationally, Marquee Sports Network & 670 AM The SCORE/Cubs Radio Network will do so as well.

Marquee has commissioned Alex Cohen & Jim Deshaies to call the 4 total games in Tokyo involving the Cubs, while Pat Hughes, Ron Coomer & Zach Zaidman will do the same on The SCORE...But nowhere near Tokyo.

Because of production, travel & other expenses, Pat, Ron & Zach will call the Cubs/Dodgers' games on the radio side from the Wrigley Field press box, very similar to the 2020 pandemic shortened season.

You might want to either set your DVRs or prepare an early cup of coffee. These games will start at 5A (CT) next Friday & Sunday for the exhibition games as well as March 18 & 19 for the 2 games vs the Dodgers due to the time difference between Chicago, Los Angeles & Tokyo.
