He's the veteran voice of the Iowa Cubs on radio & TV. He also received rave reviews when the Cubs & Marquee Sports Network needed a fill in for primary PBP TV voice Jon "Boog" Sciambi this past summer.

According to the Sun-Times' Jeff Agrest, Alex Cohen has been promoted to the big leagues. Cohen will be the primary fill in for "Boog" this upcoming season when Sciambi is on "Sunday Night Baseball" duty on ESPN Radio & needs a day off from the 162 game MLB regular season schedule.

Cohen has been the voice of the Iowa Cubs the last 7 seasons. It also ends a rotation of part time fill-ins such as Cubs Radio Network's Pat Hughes, Zach Zaidman & "Boog's" ESPN/ABC teammate Beth Mowins subbing in recent years.
