Chuck Goudie was a fixture on ABC 7 dating back to its original "Eyewitness News" brand in 1980. It remains to be seen how long he'll be on the sidelines.
Another veteran investigative reporter, Pam Zekman, was among the cuts at CBS 2 in 2020.
