I used to read his column all the time. I think there's been a big time void in media when Feder called it a career. Media news happens every day and sometimes it hits close to home. Those that bring us the news are in the news themselves even if they'd prefer not being there.
The story that Feder lost his Facebook page is very unfortunate. One would hope that he does get it back or reinstated by Meta brass, the parent company of Facebook, Instagram & Threads.
I think the same thing has been going on with X, the social media platform I still refer to as Twitter. While my own accounts remain alive & well, I know that controversial owner Elon Musk has reinstated quite a few suspended accounts and deactivated others that haven't been active in quite sometime.
Social media can be our friend. It can also be our enemy.
