In the wake of Angi Taylor's dismissal from the iHeart-owned active rock station stemming from budget cuts from parent company iHeart Media last November, ROCK 95.5 didn't have to look far to find her morning replacement.

She is evening host Maria Palmer, who has made the transition to morning drive effective today. Palmer signed on at WCHI-FM shortly after 95.5 started "ROCK"-ing during the 2020 pandemic. She worked in Charlotte & Washington, DC prior to her arrival as evening host at ROCK 95.5.

Palmer won't be alone in hosting what's now called "The Morning Mosh Pit" . She'll be joined by Matt Harris, better known as "Marris", and Michael Mason to round out the new morning show.

"Marris" was Taylor's producer on ROCK's original morning show after previously working at iHeart's sister stations 107.5 WGCI & Gospel 1390 AM WGRB as Promotions Director. Mason previously shows hosted by Delilah & Clay Travis respectively.

It is unclear who will replace Palmer on the nighttime shift at ROCK 95.5 in the wake of today's news.
