The Onion Buys Alex Jones’ InfoWars As ‘A Hilarious Joke’
After Jones was found civilly liable for claims that the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting was a hoax, InfoWars filed for bankruptcy, leaving the platform up for grabs. The Onion plans to work with gun safety advocates for the new site.
