Since 2019, Charlie Roumeliotis had been NBC Sports Chicago's Blackhawks' Insider, providing online content to the network's Website and occasionally joining host Pat Boyle & crew on "Blackhawks' Pregame, Intermission & Postgame Live" in the NBCSC studio downtown.

With Joe Brand leaving to become new play by play radio voice for the Pittsburgh Penguins this season, 720 AM WGN Radio had an opening for Blackhawks' pre, intermission & postgame host. Today, WGN Radio filled the vacancy.

This morning, it was learned that Charlie Roumeliotis will serve as new host for Blackhawks' broadcasts on 720 AM this season. Needless to say, he's very familiar with John Wiedeman & Troy Murray's hometown call.

Roumeliotis will host "Blackhawks' Central" before, during & after every game this season. Charlie will also serve as host of WGN Radio's weekly "Blackhawks' Live" during the season.
