One guy who will not follow the Bulls to their new home is Will Perdue. A 3 time NBA Champion during the '90s, Perdue had been sharing studio time with Kendall Gill & host Jason Goff in recent years on NBC Sports Chicago's Bulls' pre, halftime & postgame shows over the last 3 seasons. According to the Sun-Times' Jeff Agrest, the Bulls called Perdue this past Friday to break the news that they want a 2 person crew, specifically a host & an analyst for these shows.
While it's believed that Gill will follow the team to their new home as studio analyst, it's still unclear who will serve as host.
Jason Goff had been NBC Sports Chicago's Bulls' pre, halftime & postgame host since 2019. Goff is also considered to be the leading candidate to replace Danny Parkins as Matt Spiegel's new co-host on 670 AM The SCORE, but there are scheduling conflicts that are holding things up. The afternoon co-host job at WSCR opened last month when Danny Parkins left for FS1 to become one of the hosts of the network's new "Breakfast Ball" with Craig Carton & "NFL on FOX" analyst Mark Schlereth based in New York.
Since its big announcement on June 3, CHSN has been very slow in regards to on air talent, programming & distribution. NBC Sports Chicago is signing off for good on September 30, the day after the Chicago White Sox regular season finale.
Needless to say, time is of the essence for CHSN. A link to this story can be found here:
