Where have all the rhytmic/dance songs from 87 - (roughly) 97 B96 Chicago, Hot 97 NY (late 1993), Power 106 LA (late 1993), Power 96 Miami (1996), etc gone? That is right, they do not test well. Might as well have just dreamt them in our head during the time period. I digress.....

It is obvious that these songs are used in place of new titles. The average age of listener on radio is *increasing* and radio is becoming less relevant breaking new music. it will only grow with time.

Sean Ross is geek prime when it comes to articles like these. But, these songs are still anomalies. When you start getting spins in the teens and higher for those old titles on CHR and it is more than a handful, then come and let me know.
