B96 got wise, When 94.7 would do it, they would stop the commercials dead cold and play a song. LOL. Ended it fairly quickly.

The good ol days of competition. When companies did not own 5+ stations in a market and they were driven by 25 minute stopsets an hour along with being rockless, VT or "national" voices.

The "charts" are also a thing of the past thanks to the "nationalization" of song titles. The days of local hits are LOOOOOOOONG gone!
