I guess I wish someone would trash the research, the analytics and just try it in Chicago. And if it utterly fails (hard to see it doing worse than the current 1.7 on B96, but...) then, only then, will you know for sure that it doesn't work. At least you'd have proof, tested and tried and move on to the next format. But until that happens, dumb radio guys who prognosticate and usually get it wrong keep creativity out of radio.

I understand young people are gone from the dial. It feels like radio is on a long hospice journey. Just waiting to die.
