They put the Betting stream on HD2's, so they can say they are in the market. WMVP is not on HD2 to garner better sounding audio, they can say, "We are on FM in Market #3".

It is sad when you are being beat by Public Radio Jazz that is a suburban stick (DCB), WVIV and Moody Radio is 0.1 away from you. Any way you dice it, their target demos are better than .9 but not enough to carry the station.

You will see AM 890:

> Up for sale (Very possible) - George Soros is buying radio like crazy. Will he come to save WLS-AM?
>> 100% off the bird (cheap and allows to run the syndicated programs in Market #3 for advertiser purposes)
>>> They can rent it out, not brokered, but rent out the 24/7 (Very unlikely, no one will be willing to pay the price)

WLS-AM is in a bad way:

> Technologically challenged (inferior to FM, Stereo, online)
>> You need money to make money. @ 0.9, no one will invest taking the issue above into consideration. This station has to be majority live and local
>>> It is not worth what it once was, due to a ton of issues, not present 25 years ago.
>>>> Chicago is Liberal. Is there enough of a demo to sustain this format? There could be, but, BIG but, the Conservative demo which listens to this type of radio, is older. Way older > 54. The younger demos that are MAGA part of the Conservative Party, the more popular, more numbers and more stronger, are not listening to AM radio.

This is not a good scenario.
