I agree that the simulcast will continue for a long time to come. It will a long time to figure out what to do with 1240. It's hanging on, and has a full weekday schedule (programming from 7 AM to 8 PM, music only from 6-7 AM). There's still some unsold time on weekends (Sat-before 12 noon, and most of the day Sunday).

Russian, Ukrainian, and Spanish are the big three, longtimers keeping 1240 alive. It is amazing how only the very first stations of their kind (like WSBC) remain to this day. Several have came and went down the years.
