iHeart has 2 Country stations in West Michigan. 93.7 WBCT Grand Rapids which has 320,000 Watts. Transmitter is south of Grand Rapids. Regular visitor here obviously And 107.9 WMUS in Muskegon. In general iHeart runs the premium choice and automated programming most of the time in West Michigan. Cumulus in Grand Rapids is generally live and local during the day but syndicated and automated at night. Cumulus in Muskegon is fulltime Westwood One programming. Townsquare Media also has a cluster in Grand Rapids, and like Cumulus they have a hybrid of local and automation. South Bend is a completely different type of market. None of the major companies own any stations there. All smaller broadcasters and it sounds like it at times. It's not a bad thing in many ways.
