It seems to me, a low powered top of the dial AM station in 2022, is doomed, no matter what.

In the case where there's a translator, isn't this the equal of putting said AM station on life support?

I don't want to see anyone lose their job. Ever. But I don't understand how a station such as the one described in this thread can not only survive, but turn profit.
