Re: WPNA/Chicago Sold
WPNA-AM has always been various Ethnic, mostly Polish. That said, the Polish side of that has way more competition than they did before. Aside from the Polish National Alliance using WPNA-FM to target English-speaking younger Polish people, there's been the addition of PolskiFM on 92.7 during the day in 2014, Polskie Radio (WNVR)'s expansion to WRDZ and now a translator on 104.7 in 2015, not to mention much of WNWI. That said, it should be fine for awhile as long as people are willing to lease the time, something WPNA never really had a problem doing. I'm specifically wondering if they plan to also eventually sell 103.1 now that they have an upgraded signal and could probably make a little more from it.
