What is I guess, of interest to me, as a radio nerd, is the lack of hits.
From the days of the WCFL WLS WMET etc to today:

POSSIBLY FIVE POWERS

TONS OF RECURRENTS

and STUFF STILL ON THE CHARTS for MONTHS!
Ghost-Bieber, Stay-Kid Laroi/Bieber, Cold Heart,
Bad Habits, all 20+ weeks on a chart!

No movement.

NEW MUSIC. In the 60s, 5-10 a week. The charts turned over faster...

HIT-BOUNDS reduced to 3 a week in 1970s.

PLAY LISTS in 1974 cut from 30 to 23-24 and I've seen as low as 16!

NOW, 1 or 2 new songs added, maybe a month????

Is radio or are programmers programming for themselves?

Too, the 15 minute stop-sets .... 1/4 of an hour???? Ads? Hello!
