As for Jobo, I don’t blame him for wanting to stay away from where they wanted to hire him and out of the nonsense corporate radio. I think Jan Jeffries was running WLS-FM at the time. I have never heard a single good thing about Jan. Fred Winston only lasted a week or less there if I remember right and Dick Biondi was forced into overnights under his watch. Nobody was ever allowed to say much on the air. Was quite bland at times.
