106.3 seems to be coming from the same tower as 107.1, which makes sense since those two translator frequencies have the same audio as 106.7 The two translators are strong to the north of the WPPN tower, up into at least Mundelein and fairly strong along Rte. 59 through Barrington
So…it makes no sense why 106.3 is not coming from the WXES tower as the CP states? Perhaps El Sembrador may be selling the translator? It would make sense to move the 106.3 translator north, as the WSRB signal is relatively strong in Addison, though it’s not consistently strong enough for reliable mobile reception there or further north and west. And the 106.3 from WYRB Genoa starts to take over going west from Barrington.
