Itís a great thing to do when you are retired and donít need it to be an income producer.
For all the squawking I do on here that daytime only stations are not profitable or possible in todays technological shift of consumption, I salute you. If you have the means, I'd love to see you do it.
Just a nice little community minded station with no debt and very little overhead.
It is so hard today to capture a community to focus on a daytime only signal. Women have shifted into the workforce, no longer strictly "raising the kids and tending house". Everyone works split shifts. Change in technology. Again, if you had the chance to do it, I'd love to see your work model and see it come to life. Just opinion, I think this would work better outside of the city where life is slower paced and technology (high speed data) is not there yet.
I just wish the FCC was committed to AM stereo or iBOC was not selected for HD. Also, trying to match AM daytimes to an FM translator. Or at least a discussion how this can be done and deployed.
