Agreed. I will say that from what I have heard from research, Air1 is still targeting a younger demo (25-34 women, same as before the format switch.) From what I understand, contemporary worship has become the preferred format for younger Church-going Christians.
On the other hand, no chance that many young non-Christians are listening to the new Air1. The BOOST format would be much more effective in reaching them. Exciting to see this happen!
