Jeremy is right..it is female friendly and 95.5 is a great sounding mainstream rock station. People asking for head-banging music had their chance on the zone and sorry but it did not work.
Lots of songs don't get played anywhere but on 95.5 and all those bands somebody listed are also NOT getting played anywhere, except on their own playlist. 95.5 decided to go with the songs that people know already that are not getting played in Chicago. Drive blows, 101 is poptart and xrt is old and loves themselves.

And if you're into that station in the suburbs you can move there and support their sponsors.

The morning show is fine and there's a woman in charge. Why do men get so defensive about that? The co-host is cool and they sound good together. And what are they supposed to talk about other than current events and music.

People can listen to the satellite and watch their news feeds but I'm someone who likes local people on a local rock station talking about my city.
