I don't disagree that radio stations need to effectively connect with their audiences.
But a personal pet peeve of mine is when I see job postings or industry discussions that talk about "living the lifestyle" of their target audience. In my opinion , any discussion of "living the lifestyle" is based more on cliches and stereotypes of an audience than anything else. Whenever Zander Kelly posts about what the rock crowd supposedly demands, it just reminds me of that cliche every single time.
