The listening changes (not listening to radio or making radio #2 choice to listen) in the younger generation along with real crappy decisions along the way and the inept management at Entercom has led to this.
I can promise you they would say some research shows people want to listen to a computer pump out music and commercials with no live jocks, so the mixes are gone.
At this point B96 needs to pivot and niche to something else so they can defend against KISS and The MIX and save JAMS. I honestly do not know what that format can be. If they skew older they can try to damage V103 but they need to protect JAMS. I am not sure EDM or current dance is the answer either as it overall is not vocal and dance radio friendly. Going after WGCI? What crumbs are left there to pick up?
