I remember going way back in the day, as a youngster growing up and scanning the dials, WJOB would regularly have variety popular-type music most evenings starting around 6pm but I don't recall for how many hours in duration.
Another blast from the past... anyone remember Bruce Williams / TalkNet ?!? That was on another station though, 1340 WJOL, that I discovered back in the day. Way back then I did not understand why certain stations sounded like a mess around and after sunset.
