The audio is LOUD on a TV because WRME-LP is modulating their FM audio closer to the 75 kHz deviation used by FM Broadcast stations, instead of 25 kHz deviation used for analog TV stations. In addition, they are modulating a stereo signal compatible with FM Broadcast (DSB-SC) rather than the MTS stereo signal for TV Broadcast — and on top of that, they throw in the 57 kHz RBDS text info so MeTV FM displays station/artist/song info like most other FM stations.

And that’s why these misfit Channel 6 / 87.75 FM stations are called FrankenFM’s.
