WNDZ does not have a set format when they play music to fill time. In the last decade or so, they have put on music between 5:15AM and 7AM in June. These are hours they will eventually lose when the days get shorter, so it seems they basically never sold those hours. I’ve heard AC. Rock. Adult Hits and Oldies, sometimes it was different each day. I used to catch the daytimer sign ons and pattern changes in the morning and would often listen to WNDZ sign on. Unfortunately, I’m no longer awake during those hours.

WGN on the other hand did add Sinatra on Sunday Mornings and Standards on Sunday nights.
