Sure there is. Low ad rates. Take a look at the stations that are aiming 64 year old demos.
They have the most dispensable income.
Dispensable? Perhaps you mean "disposable"? We now know you are not in advertising or media. It is a proven fact consulting research and sales point data, 50+ crowd is planning retirement at a time with almost no savings. They are not buying cars, expensive houses and other large ticket items. They are more concerned paying for health care and saving money to retire.
Now, salespeople need to sell direct if they want a chance at making $$$.
Wow, when did national ads, the ones that make the big $$$ go away? Yeah the big bucks are direct sales to mobile dental units, retirement homes or the local strip club.
