Re: Any Media predictions for 2020?
I would bet Mancow moves over to WGN... reason being if you look at Sean Comptonís Facebook he was just on a trip with Mancow is is obviously friends.. he is now an Executive VP at Nexstar and making all the decisions now.. If you look at Seanís bio he started out with Randy Michaels back in the Jacob and Clear Channel days (he actually started a one hour syndicated radio show for Trump back in 2004 and started Sean Hannityís radio show) and he is one of the only people that survived the regime change when Michaels was thrown out of the Tribune.. he is definitely a conservative and will pull anyone who bashed Trump.. he seems like a good guy and knows what he is doing I donít think he will turn WGN into a conservative talker but I also think he will get rid of all the Trump haters thus why Cochran was fired.. mind you Cochran publicly bashed the last regime and it came back and bit him in the you know what.. that is why you shouldnít bash people because you will never know when you will encounter them again.. My guess would be is he probably was asked to stop all the political talk and bashing Trump and he wouldnít so he fired him.. if you noticed Roe Conn has moved the show away from politics.. honestly if Cumulus was smart they would pick up some of these WGN people.. here is what I would do if I were WLS right now - drop the syndicated programming they already have Stephanie who was at WGN as their program director so she has these relationships already .. this lineup would be great and pull WLS out for sure but donít think Cumulus would ever invest in it..
Pete McMurray - mornings (5-9am)
Jen Weigel - middays (9am-12pm)
Bill and Wendy - early afternoon (12pm-3pm)
Garry Meier - afternoon (3pm-7pm)
Brian Noonan - nights (7pm-10pm)
Anyone else have any good lineups?
