I know Entercom is feeding Feder and Fybush press releases and lines, so I do not blame them for reporting it.
In reality, the HD is off (yep I guess most won't notice that) and won't be back. I am not sure but I think it has to do with the diplexing. The audio level and processing is different (for the worse). At night the analog is barely audible or muddy in many areas around the WI stateline which I noticed. The AM analog also has a "popping" noise as of last week when I listened. Wasn't constant, but intermittent.
At the end doesn't matter. These corproations are hoping to dismantle all AM stations and end up on FM or an app.
Do YOU my CMC friends hear the new signal the same or not, whether local or distant?
