Yes, WCFJ simulcast WSBC much of their broadcast day, with the exception of a few shows. I discovered Sargam (a guilty pleasure of mine, each Sunday night), on WCFJ, back in spring 2000.
During the core winter months (believe it or not), I can get WCFJ both day and night. In fact, I recorded songs during non-brokered times (huge variety of music), part of my tape collection. The opposite is true for summer. I always have fun with the little stations.
That's because they're so unique, but so little of them these days. 1510 and 1570 (in my area) come in best...not my thing (I do like catching sign on/offs during the fall/winter from 1510). Of course, I liked 1570 when it was WBEE, when I wasn't on 1530.
I can actually DX 1320 out of Kankakee and 1330 out of the North Suburbs (plus, I get Lansing, Michigan on 1320 during critical hours). You have to hang on to whatever's left. There certainly is not much left.
