WGN - no clue what I'm talking about
95.5 - two crazy ideas...classic dance (80s, 90s, early 2ks) Killer B/Energy stuff or a WXXY-esque 80s format playing all genres and all music from the decade (ala Jeffery T's 80snow.com). In light of those 2 crazies, it still doesn't seem like they're going to do anything but a low rated country format. (Option 3 maybe...some kind of harder classic rock, think old Blaze...???)
B96 - their best ratings historically are when they are dance heavy. Play Top 40 rhythmic and add their HD2 playlist. Top 40 just isn't producing great music right now. Do something different and stand out without losing the Top 40 heritage. Bring back the Party Radio moniker. Make radio more exciting and unique again. It's been (25-30 years) too long!
Just a radio geek's thoughts.
