If B96 indeed goes Hot AC, what happened next? Would they still report as CHR/Pop instead of going as Hot AC? Do they scrap the mixers entirely since Hot AC is a format that typically doesn't do mix shows? Do any Hot AC station anywhere in the country do mix shows?
Perhaps Entercom could merge B96 and Jams into one, making the station a rhythmic version of the Hot AC format, move it to 96.3 (keeping the B96 brand while adding some of Jams) and flipping 104.3 to Hot AC (or something else)? The format would 50% New Music, 50% Re-Currents/Gold/Throwbacks (focusing on the 2000s and early 2010s and only a hint of 90s)?
On a side note, wouldn't TLC fit in 104.3's playlist? I thought they were classic Rhythmic (with a hip hop lean) rather than classic Urban.
