Yeah, I completely agree with that shift. The terminology is still there, but it doesn’t really reflect how teams operate anymore. What actually matters is how aligned everyone is and how smoothly information moves across the team, regardless of where people are located. I’ve seen cases where everything technically looked perfect on paper, but projects still struggled because priorities weren’t communicated clearly or changed too often without context. Once teams become hybrid like this, success depends way more on coordination quality than on structure labels.
