I remember as a kid growing up in NY, that on Palm Sunday in Sunday school at church we'd be given a palm frond, and thinking it was so exotic. Now after living in Florida for over 45 years it's no big deal, as I can walk outside my house and find palms just popping up out of the ground here and there like weeds. 🌴
