The last contact I had with the director if the shelter was 2 months ago, as she wanted to get in touch with one of my brothers who developed a new website for them, but he said she never got in touch with him.

I have texted the former manager who quit, that led me to stop going to the shelter, but those were just brief how are you doing, happy holidays sorts of texts.

As for if I will ever go back to the shelter, I don't know. Never say never, and I did not burn any bridges before leaving, but helping to take care of my younger sister, who is special needs, seems to be taking more and more of my time in the mornings, which would drastically cut into any time I could spend at the shelter anyway, so I don't know. I do miss the cats though, especially my favorite, Chaplin (below). He is such a cool cat.
