A few months ago I planted a couple of milkweed plants down at the end of my driveway, next to a neighbor's fence, in a small area I am trying to turn into a butterfly/bee/humming bird friendly garden.I've seen several monarch butterfly caterpillars on it, as milkweed is their favorite food, but they keep disappearing, possibly to predators. So with this latest caterpillar I have used materials I had on hand to fashion a protective screen around the plant, so hopefully nothing can get to the caterpillar, and it can survive to form a chrysalis, and turn into a butterfly. I'll post some pics when I get a chance.
