I've lived in central Florida over 45 years now, and I can't recall us ever having weather like we've been having this summer. When we first moved here back in the mid 70s, the morning temps in the summer were around 74 or so. Now every morning this summer it's almost always in the high 70s, and this morning at 5:45 it was freakin' 81 degrees, and with the high humidity added in, the "feels like" temp is in the low 90s! No wonder the central AC keeps coming on every few minutes!

We have heat advisories because of this, and according to weather.com, the Weather channel's website, the high temp here yesterday was 100, with "feels like" temps over 110! Yeah, I was working outside all day yesterday in that, and will be again today. Yes, I drink a lot of ice water, and also take electrolyte supplements while I'm out working. And I have never before used the AC in my van while I'm out working as much as I have this year. 🌞 🥵
