This weekend was a very quiet one for a while for Poppy and I. Our internet was out from early Saturday morning till late this morning. It was failure on the company's equipment...and I was ok for a while but the silence was too much after a while. I also have tinnitus, which is constant noise in my ears,..and the quiet made is much worse. But by Sunday morning I remembered that I had a very nice radio that belonged to Keeper,...I got it out of hiding and was so glad to find a station with Christmas music! My radio has a broken cord so I was out of luck with using that. Anyway a this made me aware of how much we take for granted, and how different life had to be for those who lived even just as far back as the mid 1800's,..I am glad that today the internet, and my streaming Tv are back working,and I sure will not take it for granted anymore!
