The year was 2007 and my boyfriend Daniel and I had been dating for almost a year. I was out of college for the summer, so I was spending time with him in his small Alabama hometown. These were the days when facebook was the go to social media app for college age people, so naturally, I had looked back through Daniel’s old photos on his profile. While doing so I noticed one photograph that caught my attention. It was of him wearing a red T-shirt sporting a buzzcut that appeared to be a #2 all over.
After dinner one night I worked up the courage to show him the photograph and ask him if he would buzz his head for me again. This was new territory for me. I had grappled with my haircut fetish privately for a decade or more, but it was not something I had ever discussed with anyone else. I was terrified of how he would react to my request. I was relieved when I saw a knowing smirk come across his face as he responded “I have an idea”. Despite how hard I pressed him for more details, he remained tight lipped about what he had in mind. It was all I could think about over the next couple days.
On Daniel’s next day off work he called one of his friends from high school who had opened up a barbershop in town after graduation. He had arranged for us to come in before the shop opened to get his hair cut. I was a nervous wreck the morning of the haircut. As Daniel drove to the barbershop I ran my fingers through his five inch long dark brown hair, wondering what it would feel like when it was gone. Daniel parked next to the barbershop and we walked inside. I instinctively took a seat in the waiting area, but Daniel came over to the waiting area, picked up a chair, and said to me “oh no, you’re getting a front row seat for this haircut”. He then sat the chair right next to the barber chair. I couldn’t breathe.
Daniel sat in the barber chair, and the barber had to lower the chair to accommodate his 6’2” frame. The barber caped Daniel then turned to me, saying I need your help. The barber handed me a pair of scissors the lifted up a strand of Daniel’s hair on the top of his head. The barber said “cut it how short you want it”. I could feel the bulge in my pants rising and was hoping the barber didn’t notice. I instinctively moved the shears as close to Daniel’s scalp as I could then snipped them forcefully. I watched in awe as a large clump of brown hair fell to the floor in slow motion. The barber said “damn that is short”, and Daniel rubbed his fingers on his newly exposed scalp, and shook his head. I was unsure if he was angry with me or knew what he was getting himself into. The barber proceeded to shear all Daniel’s hair off using clipper over comb to buzz off the hair all over Daniel’s head to an eighth of an inch.
I distinctly remember the yellow electric hair clippers the barber used. When he had shorn all Daniel’s hair off the barber said “well, I think that’s about as short as I can get it”. The barber brushed off Daniel’s head and neck then unfastened the cape. Daniel’s hand immediately shot to his head and he gave it a long slow rub while examining his severe buzzcut in the mirror. When we got back into the car I immediately began rubbing his head, and sheepishly asked “are you mad at me?”. He replied “why would I be?” and kissed me before driving off.

This is designed for male haircutting, and males should be the subject of the haircut. Females should not be the subject of the haircut in posts, photos, and discussions, however, females are free to join and discuss our common interests.
No sexual posts allowed. No political posts allowed.
In terms of common sense, do not post replies to such videos or photos saying things like “sexy handsome man without hair” or “better ####ing shave it next time” or any other suggestive or inappropriate comments. This only does many things. It makes the user remove the video due to being “creeped out” by said comments, look to see where the user found their video (and can see terms searched, such as headshaving, male haircut, and even links from this board). It only brings out a negative view of our community and makes us more noticeable, rather than keeping it quiet. Keeping it quiet is best, it allows us to continue sharing content without people starting to think “will I get creepy people send me stuff”. To sum it up, don’t be a creep on other people’s videos. Saying you look good such as “nice haircut” is acceptable; saying “you look sexy handsome with that new haircut :-*” is unacceptable. I cannot control what you post on other websites, but please keep your true comments to yourself, or as we often see, “This video has been removed by the user” will pop up. Please use proper judgment to keep the videos posted public for all to see and enjoy.
In addition, please try to do your best to provide reference to what content is being presented. The internet is wide, I understand that. But if you are going to post a YouTube link, write a quick thing next to the link (moptop shorn) or reference where you got an image from (i.e., post a link and the image) so we can see it easier if there is problem. Only goes to help us out more!
Be civil on the board. We’re all grown mature (hopefully) men. Let’s keep it mature and civil on here.
Be smart about what you post! If you use proper judgment, it will generally be fine. Just consider these rules before posting.
